by Blake Fleishacker
Blake is a rare mix of leader, comedian, romantic, musician and TEDxUWO host. He spends most of his time looking for the moments that are worth experiencing and after quickly jotting these in his notebook, insists that he gets a reserved seat. Conversations with students are an opportunity to learn from others. Drawing from his experiences in secondary school and a record number of years living and working in university residence, Blake presents real truths and practical insights, which will excite, motivate and inspire your students to reach their potential.
Life with six thousand roommates is loaded with lessons. Blake is the youngest of three children, lactose intolerant, a major fan of romantic comedies and still sleeps with his childhood teddy bear. He is open, honest and real– he has nothing to hide. Whether it stems from his acne-filled adolescence, his trumpet tooting teens or his acoustic instrument adulthood, Blake values the art of conversation and has worked to create programs that facilitate actions to enhance the experience of students everywhere.
Blake prides himself on continuously learning from and creating friendships with the thousands of new students starting out on campus each year. His positive outlook on life is contagious and his creative approach will encourage audiences to make the most out of life.
Blake recently completed his first book “Campus Gets Wasted”.
